SLH “MYSTERY INSPECTION” REPORT

Hemingways Nairobi received some truly fantastic news in early January when we received the results of the Small Luxury Hotels of The World™ (SLH) Mystery Inspection for 2016.  SLH is a collection of some of the finest boutique luxury, independently minded hotels around the world and Hemingways Nairobi has been a proud member since we opened in 2013. They operate a very thorough inspection programme that ensures only the finest hotels are associated with the unique SLH brand.

Thanks to the hard work of our fantastic team of management and staff we achieved a score of 98.3% which ranks us in the top 10 of all Small Luxury Hotels worldwide. All aspects of the stay and experience were taken in to consideration from start to finish – the inspectors even go as far as measuring their experience during the reservation process, whether staff customize their conversations according to a guests cue and whether your drinks were served within 4 minutes. Since it’s a mystery inspection, the clue is in the name and we had no idea we were being inspected. Achieving a ranking of 8^th globally is a fantastic result and is testament to the exceptional quality of experience that Hemingways Nairobi offers.
